Need VS. Want

The other day I posted a question on Facebook: What do you think the world needs? There were some interesting answers. One thing we can agree on is God. Let me ask you a follow up question, what does the world want? Now, the subject is wide open. You will have everything from peace to stopping world hunger to I just want to be happy. So, how do you go from want to need? In the past we have just told people what they need not stopping long enough to listen to what they want. Human nature struggles between want and need. "Need", dictates work. Where "want" carries the idea of fun. For far too long, we have tried pushing "need" (God) on people. Isn't it about time we start with the "want" and lead them to the "need".
